Legal
Privacy policy
Last updated October 3, 2026.
This policy explains what personal information Clubhouse Press (“we”, “us”) collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
What we collect
When you buy a book or join a club
Payments are processed by Hotmart. Hotmart collects your name, email address, billing details and payment information to complete the order, and shares with us the details we need to deliver your book and support you: your name, email address, what you bought and when. We never see or store your full card details.
When you join an author’s weekly letters
We keep your email address, your name if you give it, and which letters you receive. We use an email service provider to send them.
When you write to us
We keep your message and your email address so we can reply.
When you visit this website
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse.
How we use it
- To deliver the books and letters you asked for.
- To answer your questions and process refunds.
- To tell you about other books from your author, only if you are a reader or subscriber, and always with an unsubscribe link.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only with the services that help us run the press: Hotmart (payments and delivery), our email service provider, and Cloudflare (website hosting). Each one may only use your data to provide its service to us.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as the law requires. Letter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Messages are kept as long as needed to help you.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any letter with the link at the bottom of each email. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by writing to support@clubhousepublishers.com. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws have these rights too, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
Children
Our books and letters are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
